Project Summary
The project STEAM LINK is addressed to secondary students from both secondary schools,
especially to those between 15-17 years old. This project integrates 3 school partnes from Greece,
Italy and Spain, and it is a three years projects, as it includes long terms mobilities of students from
Italy and Spain. Apart from these long term mobilities, it will be three students short term mobilities
with the participation of the three partner schools of the project
The results of the project will be shared by project website /Facebook /Twinspace /Tweeter. In all partners schools we face the same aim, to improve students achievement of Maths/Science/ foreign
Language skills. We based our statements on a reliable source of information like the external and internal evaluations, the final exams results and students’ marks. To respond to schools needs, our priority is to increase participation in Science,Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM)
studies and careers, fostering in a specific way, the election and access of women to these studies. We also want to complete and reinforce the STEAM approach through this project.
Thanks to the project we will also give our students the chance to conduct experiments, looking for their own solutions, collaborate in peer groups, learning outside the classrooms, get problem based and inquiry based learning. Although in most secondary school Maths, Technology, Science and Art is taught separately, in this project we will integrate all these subject and what is more we will integrate STEAM, ICT and CLIL approach. We will teach most of these subjects in a bilingual way, using English as a common
learning language. This project has a series of tangible and intangible results. The main tangible objectives-results are:
1. Videos presentations of the project and of the schools elaborated by each institution
2. Project website, project on the eTwinning platform, which will include the STEAM projects developed by the students
