Project Summary

As its name suggests, the main objective of this project is to strengthen entrepreneurship by increasing the financial skills of (future-)entrepreneurs. To achieve this, the SUCCEED project aimed to create an educational methodology, a complete training material exploited in a stable and permanent free learning platform (MOOCs and video series), and replicable examples for students, trainers and practitioners.

According to multiple papers published by the OECD and the EBF, as well as results coming from past European projects, there is a financial literacy gap. ICT tools will be developed not only to improve training methods but also to provide a useful tool in order to understand basic financial and economical mechanisms. The project will follow a very precise methodology, inspired by the division of work based on each partner’s experiences and resources. We created innovative content, to provide pedagogical skills, technical skills and crucial information on financial education matters. This training enables trainers to stimulate financial education of a large number of beneficiaries and by doing so, it will increase their self-entrepreneurial potential.

SUCCEED project is a partnership of 8 European organizations handpicked between Education/Training institutions and promoters (CONFORM, FUNIBER, SATEAN), operators and consultants in the domain of financial institutions (CBE), networks of enterprises/business incubators (CCIL, RES, FVB/The-Hive) and experts in ICT applications in the training business (BICERO, CONFORM).

All project results are freely available through the project website: www.succeedproject.eu
They are:
– A clear methodology to detect skills gaps in financial educations and beyond;
– A National analysis for each partners’ Countries;
– A general analysis which compared the skill gaps in partners’ Countries;
– SUCCEED Training material (13 chapters created by the consortium and a Web Series);
– SUCCEED Learning platform – FELIPE where the training materials and the web series are presented in an innovative and user-friendly way
– SUCCEED “Manual for trainers” is a manual on how to recreate a training course similar to SUCCEED. It aims at presenting the operative steps followed by the consortium in creating SUCCEED training, and therefore, it aims at empowering other organizations.
– SUCCEED” CASE STUDIES FOR IMPLEMENTING FINANCIAL EDUCATION (EN)” it is a complement of the Manual and it is intended to support trainers in implementing SUCCEED training course in their educational offer.

During the project, the consortium organized two Learning activities (in Luxembourg and in Ancona). Both activities aimed at testing SUCCEED content and methodology with learners in order to improve SUCCEED results and increase its impact.

One of the final results of SUCCEED project is IO6 “Manual fro trainers” to support those organizations willing to develop a similar training course in other fields. This manual presents the journey of SUCCEED project and produced an long-term benefit by empowering other organizations not directly involved in the project.
