Project Summary

The project “Strategic cooperation for better entrepreneurship education” is a European project aiming to improve the methods of teaching entrepreneurship with particular emphasis on current scientific and technological achievements related to the implementation of the principles of sustainable development. The project was implemented in the years 2015-2016 by the Centre for Sustainable Development Horizons and Romanian project partner – Fundatia Universitara Hyperion. The purpose of this the project was to increase key competences in the labour market and the conduct of a business among youth and adults, which basically can be called the promotion of entrepreneurship education. The purpose of the project also include the promotion of lifelong learning, especially with the use of the informal education, the use of the latest approach in the learning process as well as openness to expand the own horizons through the international team work and the exchange of good practices.
As part of the project – an Intellectual Outputs of the project- there was developed and tested innovative entrepreneurship teaching programme in which the greatest emphasis was put on the use of workshop methods, project work methods and simulation games.
As a part of the curriculum an e-learning component was implemented using the online tool: VELP- Virtual Entrepreneurship Laboratory Platform. The learning/teaching activities, which aim was to test the curriculum, were carried out in Jun 6-10, 2016 in Bucharest and June 20-24, 2016 in Pultusk. There were 24 participants (age up to 30) which took part in learning activities. Based on the pilot learning activities and its conclusions and observations the final result of the project was created in the form of a Sustainable Entrepreneurship Teaching Program and Virtual Entrepreneurship Laboratory Platform (VELP). In September 20, 2016 in Pultusk, there was a conference organized as an multiplier events of the project. The conference was attended by project partners, project participants, pupils and teachers of secondary schools, representatives of NGOs and entrepreneurs from Poland and Romania.
