Project Summary

In this project we have created a mobile application TripApp, designed to reduce the health and social harm related to drug use. The app has the following features:
1. Early warning system about contaminated, or otherwise particularly dangerous batches of psychoactive substances appearing in Europe. Data in the system comes from the tests conducted by the laboratories cooperating with organizations running this project; and submitted by the app users.
2. Submission system allowing regular app users to send us information about the particularly dangerous batches of the psychoactive substances
3. A filter of the alerts described in point 1. showing alerts that are particularly dangerous to the people of a specific bodyweight – the lower the weight the more batches are particularly dangerous
4. A map of 2500 drug harm reduction services from 16 European countries.
5. Set of information about reducing the harm related to the drug use
6. Summary of the legal consequences of the use, possession, and trafficking of drugs in 30 European countries – in cooperation with European Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction

The app is available in Google Play(soon also Apple Store in) 15 languages: English, Polish, Slovak, Portuguese, Germany, Luxembourgish, Italian, French, Albanian, Czech, Hungarian, Spanish, Serbian, Ukrainian and Russian.

We have also created a website of the project, informing about the app, its creators, and allowing drug NGOs from Europe, that are not yet on our map/database described in point. 4, to provide their contact details and therefore add themselves on the map (after admin’s approval)
,
Other intellectual outputs of this project are directly related to the app and include a manual in the form of two video animations and terms&conditions of apps use.
