Project Summary
The ACCESS of the YOUTH to the workplace is indispensable. Therefore, we give a higher importance to this priority, because we must carry out an inclusion, we must be open and prepared for it, due to the lack of information and / or knowledge we have examples of bad practices not only in our society, but also in our entities and we continue to isolate young people from participation in adapted training and inclusive employment. For this, an analysis of the tools used in the entities will be carried out through questionnaires and examples of good practices and a final report on the tools and methodology applied to promote and manage a good labor inclusion of young people with disabilities or in risk of exclusion.
Within the characteristics of the project, there are:
SUPPORT FOR EDUCATORS, YOUTH WORKERS, LEADERS AND SUPPORT STAFF: with ANALYSIS and IMPROVEMENT in the functions of the staff working for the educational and labor improvement of young people, we will be able to promote sustainable, informed, effective and, above all, INCLUSIVE entities.
With respect to the PROMOTION OF QUALITY, INNOVATION AND THE RECOGNITION OF YOUTH WORK, our work is to create connection and empowerment of young people with disabilities through their active participation in entities to improve their job opportunities. It is necessary because if we want to improve the preparation of our entities to promote youth employment, we must know the appropriate tools to empower them, opening them first the doors of formative and then labor access and making them more active and participating, giving voice The needs of ALL young people.
With the collaboration of various countries we can carry out the comparison of skills and results of the tools and employment methodology applied, including preparation for job training, the promotion of innovative methodologies to improve the factor of entities and promote labor relations favorable among young people and entities at local, regional, national and European / international levels.
Objectives of this project:
• Allow young people to IMPROVE THEIR SKILLS AT WORK, through first-time employment preparation techniques and techniques / tools / methodologies adapted to the diversity of needs that can be observed.
• Provide organizations that work for the inclusion of young people with disabilities the opportunity to EXPAND THEIR POINT OF VIEW through other practical visits.
• Empower organizations that work with young people to act as ambassadors for their own country by imparting their knowledge about job search techniques in their own country.
Our target group are organizations that work with young people with and / or without disabilities / in risk of social exclusion interested in improving their skills to enhance the employment opportunities of their beneficiaries. This work requires a commitment to participate, be open to learn and exchange their knowledge and a positive attitude for inclusion.
The EXPECTED RESULTS during and once the project is completed translate into an IMPROVEMENT OF LABOR OPPORTUNITIES for young people with disabilities through:
– An improvement in the QUALITY AND PREPARATION OF PERSONNEL of the European entities at training, labor, staff, etc,
– Enable a BETTER PREPARATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES /IN RISK OF EXCLUSION to access an employment position.
– Expand the ATTITUDES OF YOUTH WORKERS with improved knowledge about disability / social exclusion and about new tools and adaptation techniques.
The CONSECUTION of these will be done by:
• The STUDY, ANALYSIS and DETERMINATION of the main methodologies, tools and adaptation techniques for pre-employment training and employment.
• The CONFECTION OF A GUIDE of PROCEDURES, METHODS and essential TOOLS to facilitate the employability of young people.
• DISSEMINATION OF THE STUDY and determination of the measures or requirements that must be taken into account to avoid social exclusion (access, transit, participation and integration) in activities aimed at the general population and young people in particular.
• DISSEMINATION OF THE GUIDE AND A VIDEO demonstrating good practices and conclusions
A positive impact on the improvement of inclusive training and labor services among youth organizations in Europe, an improvement in the participation of young Europeans, the promotion of equality in our community and greater professionalism in organizations is generally expected. participants.
