Project Summary

The project aims to support student engagement in France, Morocco and Tunisia. In the actual euro-mediterannean context, student engagement should be encouraged in a several ways Considering this one as an actor of positive change on society, the project aims to guarantee spaces of accessible commitments in order to support them in citizen and solidarity initiatives. The objective is to raise awarness on global issues of students who not engaged, and to strengthen the capacity of those who are already engaged. Beyond that, the project aims to structure this emerging commitment. While it is essential to encourage this desire to act, it is also necessary to accompany these young promoters so that they are able to carry out relevant and sustainable projects, based on the real needs of the beneficiaries. It is also important that these projects of international solidarity fall within a global context whose stakes are understood by the promoters of student projects.Specific objectives :1. Sensitize and encourage the civic engagement of young Tunisians, French and MoroccansThis first objective aime to encourage young people’s civic engagement through awareness-raising activities. It aims to reach an audience of non-committed students in order to make them want to take action. It is a matter of sensitizing them, via participatory animations, around the notions of citizen engagement. This objective will be realized in particular by linking youth associations in France, Tunisia and Morocco, already committed and carrying inspiring projects, with non-committed students, in order to foster peer-to-peer exchanges.2. Strengthen the structural and organizational capacities of student and youth associations in France, Morocco and TunisiaThe second objective of the project is to develop the know-how and act of young associations committed to citizen and solidarity projects in France, Tunisia and Morocco. This second axis aims to equip and train student associations and dynamics, in order to strengthen the capacities of the latter.3. Develop exchanges and cross-fertilization between the French, Tunisian and Moroccan dynamicsThanks to their experience of accompanying the citizen and solidarity of young people in the 3 countries, the partners of the project wish to develop exchanges and cross-views between the French, Tunisian and Moroccan dynamics. Inspired by each other’s practices and tools, this third objective aims to create a specific framework to allow the exchange of practices and experiences and the capitalization of the approaches experienced by the partners. The three partners also aim to produce an international youth voice on the partnership for other young people.
