The 8 partners from 4 European countries, have developed online training materials and an online serious game, in the field of last-mile sustainable logistics. In addition, 9 additional professional training providers and institutional bodies have contributed to the success of the project, especially participating in the testing of the game in two different rounds.
SUSmile (“Successful online learning for sustainable last mile logistics”) aimed to contribute to improving skills in the logistics sector, with new quality digital educational resources so that vocational training centers can train their students on practical and innovative concepts related to last mile sustainable logistics.
The SUSMILE project has developed eLearning capsules to address initial and continuing education, including theoretical and evaluation materials, to help the user acquire key knowledge in areas such as schemes of last mile distribution, warehouses / consolidation centers / picking stations, routing systems, technologies, environmental impact and processes and product care. In addition, an adaptive learning guide has been developed to explain the learning materials.
On the other hand, in the project, a game has been developed that through the aerial / isometric visualization of a city, the user can apply the knowledge acquired in a practical way through eLearning training.
