Project Summary

The overall objective of the project is to increase the access of students from vulnerable groups to an inclusive education,to acquire the key competences,to train them as future responsible citizens and civic employees prepared to respond to the climatic challenges and to improve the social and environmental responsibility of the organization.The strategic partnership between schools consists of 6 countries:Dacia Technological High School,Romania;Professional School of ECOLOGY and BIOTECHNOLOGY PROF.Dr. Asen Zlatarov Sofia Bulgaria;I.T.E. Feliciano Scarpellini,Upper Secondary Technical Vocational Institute Foligno,Italy;Vocational School of Espinho,Portugal;Vali Muammer Guler Sosyal Bilimler Lisesi,social sciences highschool from Istanbul,Turkey,Panevezio 5-oji gimnazija,Lithuania.The specific objectives
O1Training of sustainable development and responsible citizenship skills for 20 students from vulnerable groups,until 30.09.2022
O2Developing the skills for ecological education of 6 teachers by participating in the exchange of experience and good practices at European level,to train the social and environmental responsibility of the organization until 30.09.2022
O3Elaboration by 30/09/2022 of a min of 10 transnational educational products,in order to train digital, social and civic learning competences of 20 students
Tangible results:1campaign,1 Ecofriendly space in the school,1 Website,1 eTwinning virtual space,1 Project Corner,1 on line newspaper,1 leaflet,1 padlet,1 Booklet, 1 selective waste collection center,1 Smart Book,1 PREZI,min 10 transnational products.The intangible results of the project:training and developing the skills and attitudes specific to a responsible citizenship of the students in the target group;increasing the institutional capacity to promote social and environmental responsibility in all partner high schools,acquiring the key competences by students and internationalizing the organization.Within the 5 LTTs in which activities of the type of short-term exchanges of groups of pupils will take place,4 students from each partner country,between the ages of 14 and 19,students who are part of the target group of the project,including students with low opportunities,from vulnerable environments and 2 accompanying teachers (because the majority of students are minors and considering that one of a teacher maybe has unforeseen health problems).The students from the target group will be chosen at the beginning of the project, based on the selection questionnaire relevant to the theme of the project (social criteria, school situation) in English.In the LTT from Portugal where short term joint staff training events will take place, 6 teachers from each partner country will participate according to the training needs of the schools to increase the institutional capacity to promote social and environmental responsibility.The selection of the teachers participating in the LTT will be done through a transparent,fair competition that will avoid the conflict of interests.

Local activities in each school:Eco-Friendly space development,Establishment of a mini-center for selective waste collection,Arrangement of a sustainable biodiversity and sustainable green space of the school.Organizing an international photography competition ‘Nature inspires us’,Organizing a workshop for students with the theme ‘Consumer rights and obligations in the context of sustainable development’,Revising a CDL,by adding a chapter on protection environment,respectively an optional subject for partners,Organizing an activity to prevent social exclusion,Organizing campaigns by creating spots with national and international messages.There will be elaborated together with the partners:an implementation plan and a plan for dissemination and exploitation of the results at the beginning of the project.After the completion of the project activities,the measurement of the achievement of the project objectives will be realized by measuring the impact on the students and teachers directly participating in the LTT by applying questionnaires that will show the extent to which the experiences gained have contributed to the development of the sustainable development and the social skills.The sustainability of the project will be achieved by using the products obtained within the project at the hours of teaching the CDL,respectively of the optional in the other partner high schools or during the course hours that address these themes.The results of the project will be accessible to the local,national and international school community by uploading them on the project site,on the high school websites, on the EPRP,on the etwinning
