Project Summary

INFLUENCE OF HUMAN ACTIVITY ON THE ENVIRONMENT
GOOD SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT PRACTICES FOR A BETTER FUTURE

The project was born following the awareness of the planetary emergency that constitutes the evolution of our earth in the face of the disasters announced, namely the decrease of biodiversity, the regression of the adaptability of our flora and fauna, global climate degradation, pushing our humanity to implement concrete and sustainable actions to better live on our planet.
We must educate our young people and ourselves as soon as possible in ecological, concrete, visible actions and make us all accountable for our actions. This is how we decided to build collaboratively a project, in five European localities, in the field of sustainable development and more particularly in the environmental transition.

We will be five partners: France, metropolis and Guadeloupe, Portugal, Romania, Croatia.

We made the choice to vary as much as possible, not only from a climatic point of view (tropical, oceanic, temperate and continental), but also at the level of schools and students: one primary school, three colleges two of them including a ULIS class (Localized Unit for School Inclusion), and a high school.

Each country will study a different and worrying theme for the locality, according to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations (UN).
Thus, the French metropolis will study the ecological transition: consume, cultivate responsibly, and develop biodiversity. Guadeloupe will focus on reasoned agriculture, a healthier diet without pesticides and by limiting the consumption of animals (fish, meat), while taking into account the recommendations of the Stockholm agreements.

Romania’s theme will be the transition from primary energy to renewable energies such as thermal energy, hybrid cars and solar energy.
As for those from Portugal and Croatia, they will focus on the theme of water, with its lack in Portugal and the advance of the sea on land in Croatia.
There will be 7 types of mobility, with two coordination mobility, in France, to start the project and the other to conclude it.
The others will be spread over the 24 months, with four student mobility (4 eco-responsible students per country) and two or three accompanying teachers (students with disabilities), and mobility in adult training in Guadeloupe.

The student/adult meetings, over a period of 7 days, will be organized as follows :

– Youth events missions with a pre-study of one of the themes presented by the country concerned.
– Students will construct a fresco of recycled objects, which will be fed at each meeting.
– Students will be the rapporteurs in their country for good practices for a healthier and cleaner planet.
– Students will build a story about a family living on an ideal planet.
– Students will build a model of the land of the future.

The expected results will be a real awareness of the urgent need to change our habits, both in the management of our waste, in the preservation of nature and in the change of type of energy.

The expected results are, in each country, that an impetus of actions, of ecological initiatives is realized within the schools but also in each of the homes of our students and teachers, in order to offer to our future generations, a cleaner and better place to live.
