Project Summary

The final product of „The Method of tutoring as innovative way of working with young people at risk of social exclusion” project is a novel and comprehensive way of working with young people basing on individual approach to their situation. Including an individual centered approach. This is very important for proper personal development process and helps the people make a better start in their professional, social and emotional life. The Method is strongly based on tutoring. The final product and all the results were conscientiously established with our Partners from Turkey and Spain.
This cooperation gave the Project European dimension.
The Method of tutoring is a crucial part of social exclusion prevention activity because it enables proper individual life guidance and assistance of young people. It allows to take concrete preventive and corrective measures. The distinguishing feature of the novel Method is special attention given to development of human dignity, self-esteem and ability to make relevant relationships.
This is a multi-stage and multi-dimentional process, because it is focused on developing individual and social abilities of young people. The Method is a guarantee of building the Future based on humanitarian values.
Because of the fact that new educational problems and dangers appeared, there is a great need of using new educational practices.
We have no doubt that a lot of young people suffer from pathological family roots, wrong value system and improper patterns. Their individual limitation and bad environmental condition are the cause of many problems with social relations. Education based on real values, giving best patterns and teaching how to make really good choices.

IMPLEMENTED MEASURES:
• Development and implementation of a training program for tutors
• Preparing a guide book for tutors
• Developing a social exclusion prevention program – a training program for young people
• Building an Internet platform
• Organization of an International dissemination Conference in Poland
• Organization of dissemination Seminar in Turkey
• Organization of dissemination Seminar in Spain
• Short-term collaborative training of the staff
• Short-term training of the staff
Implementation of the project was based on current outside researches and on own inside study, such as surveys: in Poland, in Turkey and in Spain. On the grounds of subreports, an aggregate report was made and its results were then used during the implementation stage of the project.
Dissemination activity in Poland and in our partner countries (Turkey and Spain) allowed the results to be met by bigger group of people.
The Project:
• Enhanced fixed cooperation with the partners
• Gave new knowledge in the field of working with young people at risk of social exclusion
• Increased our knowledge about other cultures, improved communicative and language skills of our Partner staff
• Gave the possibility for the exchange of knowledge and made the cooperation better
• Became a base for new projects.
