Project Summary
“The past – an evolved gateway to the future”
Today, when information technology begins to capture all areas of activity, and young people access the Internet, no longer being involved in knowing the real treasures of our peoples, we consider our obligation and the next generation to keep alive the multimilenary dowry. It is a responsibility for all the citizens of Europe Cultural heritage, both material and immaterial, is ours, is our common wealth – our inheritance from the past, generations and generations of Europeans have contributed to our heritage and must be preserved for those who will come after us .It is an irreplaceable knowledge store and a valuable resource for growth, employment and social cohesion. It enriches the individual lives of hundreds of millions of people is a source of inspiration for thinkers and artists and for the cultural and creative industries.Pupils dropping out of school have reduced livelihoods or have their parents abroad. In order for these children to continue their studies, to improve their frequency, we intend to attract them, to involve them in traditional representative activities of our area (crafts, customs, traditions, oral-rituals at important events in life man, dances etc.). Being trained in workshops, students will develop their confidence in their own strengths, developing the skills they will need in their professional development and social insertion. They will be able to pursue a professional school in the field to open their own business, thus developing local economic power, creating jobs, thus avoiding the depopulation of the area through migration. These children are the ones who usually leave unmotivated being taken by their parents to household chores or in the autumn or spring campaigns in agriculture. For these children, trust and self-esteem are low, but by giving them a task at these practical classes, they are easy to finish and are proud of what they know. Even though their skills segment is narrow, they have inspired us in choosing the theme and implementing this project. Everyone deserves a chance – we can give it for their future, which can be a successful one by exploiting the creativity of our ancestors – the cultural heritage.
The overall objective of our project is- creating cultural connections by promoting spirituality, identity and cultural heritage among students, which would generate the development of intercultural, social, equal opportunities, inclusion in compulsory education of children at risk of abandonment or with a high rate of absenteeism.
