Project Summary

The project aims at working towards the preservation of the Bulgarian identity and of the Bulgarian ethno-cultural space abroad, the promotion of the positive image of Bulgaria, the rapprochement of young people, solidarity and intercultural understanding; to help solve specific problems of the Bulgarian communities abroad and to improve the quality of Bulgarian language and literature education and history.
The project is aimed at young people aged 14-25 and pedagogical specialists, who have the ambition to work on the quality of the preparation of the mentioned subjects and the synchronization of their preparation. As an indirect target group, all natural and legal persons, including public organizations, can be identified in the territories of the partner countries in the project, given the overlapping of the objectives of the project proposal
The project proposal seeks to achieve its objectives and achieve the following results:
– developed intellectual products – 3 pcs.
– to deepen knowledge of history and awareness of the Bulgarian cultural heritage of young people and to improve their awareness of the cultural heritage of Bulgaria and Europe; to work for the development of personal qualities and creativity among young people, etc .;
The specific objectives reflect the established need to support the efforts of young people from partner countries in preserving their generic identity, expanding the horizons and knowledge of history and ethnography; from improving the quality and effectiveness of Bulgarian language, literature and history education.
In order to meet the set objectives, the following activities are envisaged:
• exchanges of youth groups – ethnographic expeditions will enable young people to return to their rooted roots, unite them in preserving the generic values, work towards youth convergence and solidarity The set performance indicator is the number of meetings – 2, number of participants – 40 (the hosts included), number of issues of the brochure “Bulgarian Tracks” – 2, number of publications in the electronic platform of the project – minimum 2.
• The main activity of the project is the creation of innovative intellectual products – It is envisaged to develop / create the following innovative intellectual products:
– digital learning resources on subjects Bulgarian language, literature and history – short 3-D study films illustrating the learning content and providing motivation for learning and quality of the learning process. The performance metric is the number of learning resources created – 20.
– a Bulgarian language learning guide. It will work to improve the quality and synchronization of the preparation of Bulgarian pupils abroad with those in Bulgaria. The implementation indicator is the printing of the handbook.
– a handbook on the history of Bulgaria. It will work to build the students’ national self-esteem and the pride of their ethnicity. The default metric is the printout of the handbook
• In order to multiply the project results, it is planned to hold a large forum in Bulgaria to discuss the issues and to present the created within the framework of the project. There are two measurable indicators for the implementation of the activity: Number of events – 1; Number of participants – 100 The project activities are planned in accordance with the project objectives and through their implementation the planned results will be achieved.
The expected impact is through the implementation of the project to ensure the quality of the Bulgarian language, literature and history training, to provide a basis for the preservation of the Bulgarian identity and for the positive image of Bulgaria.
A key impact of implementation will be the possibility for representatives of the direct and indirect target group to increase their knowledge, competencies and qualifications through the activities carried out within the project.
The desired impact on the national and international level is to create a solid basis for cooperation between pedagogical specialists in Bulgarian language, literature and history in the creation of innovative products to be used in training in schools in partner countries and beyond.
In the long run, the implementation of the project will make a sustained contribution to the acquisition of adequate knowledge of all stakeholders in the field of the activities carried out through the developed and freely accessible intellectual products.
