Project Summary

This project is the result of an attentive evaluation that specific project grups of the partnership have implemented inside their school communities. The used pattern was the Context,Input, Process Product. It has given useful information to identify the needs and the target groups to address it.The data analysis elaborated by the project teams thanks to the auto evaluation report and the Annual inclusion Plan and the data of several researches available on Ministerial websites has shown that a growing number of students with behavioural problems achieve incomplete skills. They often live in situations of social, economic, cultural and linguistic discomfort and they show alienation towards school and society: as a matter of fact, this proposal contributes to achieving the European objectives in the field of skills identification and anticipation (Education and Training 2020- new priorities for European cooperation on Education and Training).
Objectives for students, teacher and community.
-Prevent and fight discomforts and subsequent drop-out, promoting the acquisition of life-skills.- Implement interactive methodologies based on the ITC use
.-Promote the dissemination of innovative practices within European schools.- Improve students and teachers’ linguistic skills-Promote educational training aimed to contain behavioural problems in order to foster an efficient social integration by using an inclusive teaching .- Make Institutions aware of the project issues that will be supported by Erasmus+ funding- The partner involved in the project are: Italy (coordinator),Estonia, Lithuania, Poland , Greece , UK, Portugal, Spain.Each school involved in the project have students with social, economic linguistic and behavioral problems. Students who attend the partner schools are from 10 to 18. The diversity within each school is a major strength and it as been the central to partners’ motivation in taking part in this project. Main activities carried out during the first year: first video conference meeting among teachers and students, sharing and realizing behavioural grids learning students processes, satisfaction grids, digital presentation about territory, social and cultural peculiarities of each country, creating a project logo, motto, anthem, website and facebook page-Working on food and eating with reference to typical products recognized by the EU-Collecting information in a multimedia product,organizing a friendly volleyball and basketball match,defining a working, communication and dissemination plan, open day devoted to the preparation of project typical dishes. The project was monitored by sharing and publishing outputs in the Facebook page and project website. Besides the monitoring was realized by: whatsapp group, mails, phone calls to ex changing information and solve daily problems of organization. The first year outputs can be divided in tangible results such as the competence acquisition and not tangible ones connected to quality life: fostering personal wellbeing intended as self being and doing essential for active citizenship;improving social relationship involving in social life; increasing opportunity for exchanges -increasing self-esteem, respect for others, sense of identitfy, visits to local factories and associations to deepen the eating topic (GMO, Food labels reading, the short chain, intensive farming, FAO, importance of bio products), realizing a fairy tale book (Fiabe di cioccolato),sharing of realized products (power point, videos etc.)in Lithuania and in Portugal, creating a typical project dinner gathering ingredients coming from all countries of the partnership.
