Project Summary

Children with SEN and children with learning problems can easily be isolated from their community and even worse than themselves because they do not feel confident in themselves and make them feel inappropriate in every context. This also reflects and affects their daily lives because they usually have difficulty attending kindergarten and school or participating in community day-to-day activities.
We believe that exclusion comes from the beginning because of a lack of confidence, so our project aims to help children with SEN begin on their own to overcome the barriers they can easily build to unite society; they give them the confidence to believe in themselves and to “spread” their selfconfidence and confidence around themselves.
Essentially, this concerns support for pedagogical and methodological assistance to teachers working with these children. For this purpose, five training modules will be organized, which will be implemented with the participation of teachers from partner educational institutions. Within the
framework of organized mobilities, a number of seminars, workshops, round tables, pedagogical practices, etc. will be organized in schools and kindergartens. In all these activities, at the discretion of each partner hosting the mobility, may include teachers from the area, students. These are over 250 participants. Our expectations are to reach the results of the project to a larger number of people will be realized through the distribution and sharing of our activity in the Teacher’s Guide that we plan to create. After the end of the project, we expect a sharp increase in the number of pedagogical specialists wishing to use our results, which will be a multiplier effect based on the project’s achievements and future sustainability and sustainability.
The project responds directly to the following strategic partnership goals:
– Improving the quality and relevance of educational training offered by developing new and innovative approaches and supporting the dissemination of best practices in inclusive education at pre-primary and elementary school-age to build trust and awareness of SEN children, and children with learning difficulties;
– promoting the adoption of innovative practices in the field of education, learning by supporting personalized learning approaches, joint learning and critical thinking, open and flexible learning and other innovative training methods such as those based on the training method to be developed ;
– promoting structured interregional cooperation: increasing the involvement of local and regional public authorities in the qualitative development of education and training areas;
– enhancing the professional development of people working or active in the field of education through innovation and enhancing the quality and scope of initial and continuing training, including new pedagogies to support traditional education methods;
– Improving the capacity of organizations working in the fields of education, training and youth, especially in the field of quality of training provision, internationalization, equality and inclusion, quality and targeted activities for specific groups, very well defined, with existing problems and need from support;
– promoting equity and inclusion in education and training to enable quality education for all, and to prevent school drop-outs and to encourage the participation of disadvantaged groups in society.
The main results are:
– Cross-border thematic report focusing on the problems, needs and potential improvement of children with COP and TRAINING DIFFICULTIES – developed in all national languages of the
partners and in English.
– Training within five training modules, one for each partner.
– International closing day in Portugal.
