Project Summary
The intention of the project is to exchange experience, compare existing knowledge and, above all, increase professional skills in the field of traditional crafts with the professional participation of representatives of the business sphere. Within the framework of the project, 5 different projects in 5 days of involved subjects will be implemented. Within the project, an exhibition of products will always be organized, the manufacture of local products by students under the guidance of an expert, a visit to a specialized workplace focused on traditional industries or products, acquaintance with the learning environment of relevant partner. Each activity is attended by 4 students and 2 staff members from each participating partnering country, with a total of 24 students and 12 employees +3 employees of the Chamber of Commerce at every event. There is a total of 15 staff. The output of the project will be products created and presented in 6 exhibitions. Produced information posters will be summarizing the region in both, printed and electronic form, and its traditions or traditional elements. Further information will be provided via brochures and calendars mapping project outputs. Long term impact will also be seen in more successful pupil work placement on the labour market. Based on the work experiences with companies, we assume students will have more opportunities to gain employment due to professional knowledge and experiences, and it is a presumption for longer-lasting cooperation or even start of own business. The factual impact could be a number of work licences in various craftmanship areas and/or signed work contracts. A teacher could create more study materials based on gained experiences and activities. To follow up on the cooperation, partners could agree on continuous work. In the long term, there could be more projects with higher numbers of activities and cooperation. Within the implemented activities and reports including promotional ones that will be continuously presented in the future, there is a possibility of higher interested to study at those schools.
