Project Summary
Key competences are crucial for long life learning and a quality of our professional and private life. That’s why the main idea is to develop key competences indicated by The Council of the European Union especially: Cultural awareness and expression competence, Digital competence, Multilingual competence but also Entrepreneurship competence, and discover together that art has no border and its message is universal. The idea is also based on the concept of giving the students possibility of free creation. Sir Ken Robinson is the modern education expert and he believes that art is as important as maths. Robinson appeals to all of us to see “our creative capacities for the richness they are” and to help build an educational system that supports rather than undermines creativity.
The project supports a comprehensive development of children. It’s also a chance to realize how important role the art plays in educational systems and that the quality of education depends on culture as well. Furthermore, it is important that by implementing an international project we use English and we know new ICT tools that we use to create results but also in project’s communication and dissemination.
MAIN OBJECTIVES
1. Develop key competences especially cultural awareness and expression competence – discovering the universalism of art’s message.
2. Stimulation and supporting children’s intellectual, social and emotional development notwithstanding their abilities.
3. Imagination and creativity development.
4. Building understanding between nations, cultures and generations.
5. Development of multilingual and digital competence, working in group and problem solving competences.
To achieve the main goals of the project many activities are going to be held. Each school will create a project group and a project instrumental vocal group.
