Project Summary

Project context:
According to the plans, the project contributed to increase the target group’s (initially NEET, but expanded towards to other vulnerable groups) employment opportunities and chances of successful social integration due to the implemented project phases:
– sharing of successful Good Practices related to employability and social integration, applied by the project partners in their own country,
– testing a selected method / practice (learned from another partner) in own environment and among own clients,
– sharing the experiences of the testing phase,
– methodological work.

(The work between the partners was carried out in agreement throughout the project.)

The objectives of the project did not change and were achieved during the project:
– Development of work-related skills and competences of the target group.
– Professional development of the participating professionals.
– Increasing employment opportunities of youngsters from vulnerable, disadvantaged groups.
– Exchange of good practices and testing of new methods in 4 partner countries.
– Creating Intellectual Output that can help, motivate and inspire other European organizations working with similar target vulnerable youth. Giving them new tools they could implement to their own practice.

All activities specified in the application have been implemented:
– 4 international project meetings were held in order to help proper project management and share own practices.
– An English-language project website was created and operated throughout the project, presenting the status of the project, the results, outcomes and project news. It also served as a channel for international dissemination.
– The partner organizations presented their Good Practices, successful methods, services related to the successful employment and social integration of their target groups.
– The two five-day-long trainings were implemented in Hungary and Belgium where the preparation of the test phase of the project began.
– From the methods learned, each organization chose a practice and tested with its own target group (with at least 10 youth) within the time frame of the project, paying attention to the financial and human resources of the organizations. The testing required methodological thinking and development.
– The results of the testing were summarized, and helped to create 4 new methodology as part of the Intellectual Output.
– The results, outcomes and experiences of the project were shared at 4 local dissemination events, each partner organization organized one event. The partners used their other national channels for further local and national dissemination.
– The results of the project were uploaded to the Erasmus + Dissemination Platform and project webpage.

Main results:
– At least 30 professionals were directly involved in the project from 4 different partner organizations, who were involved in the project work at different points of the project, all of whom participated in the exchange of Good Practices.
– Compared to the planned 4-8, 15 Good Practices were shared among the partner countries. Several methods were available to the person skilled in the art at the site of implementation.
– Each partner organization has tested one new Practice among its clients.
– Almost 50 young people were directly involved in the project (4 X 10-11 people were involved in the testing, other young people talked about their experiences about shared services at the TPMs or training)
– Based on the testing experience, Intellectual Output was created, which contains methodological suggestions and recommendations for European organizations working with same target.
– Approximately 120 people were informed about project experiences by means of multiplier events in the 4 cities.

Main effects:
– The project increased the employability and social inclusion of the participated young people from vulnerable, disadvantaged groups or NEET by having enabled the partners to learn and test new ways to support the target group.
– Several skills and competences of the young people directly involved in the project have developed.
– The project – due to the Good Practice sharing project phase and testing period – has developed and strengthened the partners’ intervention methods, tools and increased their knowledge regarding the target group, thus increased their capacity both locally and internationally.
– The project work provided the partners a lot of new ideas, motivation and inspiration to further develop their services and programs beyond the current project period.
– The competencies of the professionals directly involved in the project work were developed.
– The relationship between the partners has been strengthened.
