Project Summary
Cultural heritage is a common good passed from previous generations as a legacy for those to come, however to provide this we face lots of challenges regarding its preservation and access, including financial, social and, in the digital era, technical issues. Therefore, not without a reason the year of 2018 was “The European Year of Cultural heritage” with its objective of recognizing the value of the historical dimension of the built environment. Now is the right moment to continue and expand these activities in forthcoming years. From our own experience we all know that the world is not the same today as it was yesterday, and it will be different still tomorrow. We can be victims of that change, or we can proactively drive changes by learning and developing new skills and competencies as individuals and professional community. It is important to get together and bond for the changes that we want to make and share about values of European history and its rich and diverse cultural heritage.
