Project Summary

The project is aimed to increase outcomes learning of students at main disciplines/subjects through the STEAM activities. Improving the outcomes learning, the students get better results at National Assessement and also the number of students that are in risk of dropout the school is reduced.
The other objectives are:
We will apply the following objectives:
-to improve mathematical/literary/science/art skills;
-to be inspired by the book characters and live their adventures with steam activities
-to develop collaborative skills;
-to integrate of technology to everyday learning process that encourage student to learn through playing, using attractive activities;
-to reduce school dropout;
-to understand the diversity, thus strengthening their European identity;
Project participants at the project are from six countries: Romania, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Italy, Portugal and Turkey. In all countries, the main target groups are schoolchildren aged 7-15 of main / secondary education institutions.
The concret results that will be achieved at the end of the project:
With the STEAM activities teachers will approach and teach the contents of Science, Technology, Maths, English, Art and literacy the students not only learn more – they retain what they learn.
With the STEAM activities the students will get better test score in the classroom, the off-tasks behavior will be reduce and also the classroom disruptions.
With STEAM activities the teaching and learning process will be fun and engaging for teachers and for students.
Developing STEAM activities students will take thoughtful risks, engage in experiential learning, persist in problem-solving, embrace collaboration, and work through the creative process. Students will be encouraged to experiment with thinks from real life and daily life, and to design new products.
Participating in STEAM activities the students will be encourage to frecvent the school every day and also to participate in these activities without any stress and give a positive feed-back, they will be more motivate because the Technology and Art are subjects that involve efficintly the students during the learning process.
A significant number of students with low results will increase their outcomes learning at Maths, Literacy, English, Science, Chemestry and Biology and they will pass the National Exam at the end of secondary school level. Students will develop spirit of cooperation and responsibility through activities with other students and they will be exercised with the use of new technology, know about the culture of others European countries and come in contact with other lanquages.
