Project Summary

Context

1- Reducing dropout, specifically that of VET students,

2- Developing attractive methodologies to improve key competences in VET: social, emotional, motivating, interactive relationships that generate entrepreneurship
3- Encouraging the entrepreneurial spirit of VET students by teaching them to create “Virtual Reality Packs” for “seniors” that they can later implement
4- Working with the “Flipped” methodology, the CLIL (CLIL) methodology, and creating an intergenerational methodology, which encourages the collaboration and support of VET youth to the elderly population, improving their memory skills through Virtual contents that they will stimulate their memory, the contents promote the “Cultural Heritage” and will be elaborated by the students.

5- Promoting the improvement of the quality of life of this sector of the population due to the social and economic repercussions that it implies.

6- Implementing the methodologies of 3 European projects: “Virtual Class 4 us” Project based on learning in virtual environments. The “Gain Time” project promotes the “Flipped” methodology that will be used in this project and the “Sharing is Caring” project that encourages the exchange of services among less favored groups.

7- Involving undisciplined and international teams in the project

Objectives achieved :

Despite the great difficulty that COVID d and more has posed with the population sector (older people) to which it was addressed, the objectives have been achieved and the impact has been greater than expected.

– Creation of 11 Virtual Content Packs aimed at seniors based on 10 cultural / historical events that occurred in the past of the participants, their city, country (Cultural Heritage) Packs prepared by FP students – http: // we-tomorrow .eu / io2-virtual-reality-packs /. . Pack 12 was created during C2- With an ACAM participant who attended the training and asked the participants to elaborate the journey of his life in VR. In addition, students from the CESF Center who have been motivated by the project have created VR environments for their elders and during the course 21, 22 are transferring their knowledge to the students of lower courses and the methodology is already part of the educational Curriculum of the students of social integration of the academic year 20-2021
– Additionally, an unplanned digital memory quiz has been created http://we-tomorrow.eu/e-quizzes/

– Creation of glasses with recycled material to view RV content – http://we-tomorrow.eu/io5-virtual-glasses/ innovation in this result, the glasses have been created with 3D printing and recycled material, an aspect not foreseen in the draft

4 unplanned organizations have been actively involved in the project:

Center de Serveis Per la Gent Gran: Company serving the elderly
Age UK: UK NGO dedicated to improving the quality of life of older people
CESF: Barcelona FP Center provides nursing and dependency care, among others.
ACAM: French NGO that works to integrate migrants and help the creation of businesses for this sector of the population in France.

The results have been disseminated to all centers, all international partner meetings and key conferences such as
International online Conference of SMEs Vocational Training Providers (VET)
In addition to the web @ we.tomorrow.tools.for.seniors.brain.training, partner networks FB, You Tube and through the 4 newsletters.

We Tomorrow was awarded by the BCN FP Foundation in its 2018-19 call for its innovative nature and this has allowed the initiation of a collaboration with PIMEC that begins in autumn 21
Finally, thanks to the development of WE TOMORROW we have implemented, improved the results and obtained a project that implements it, VARTES http://vartes.eu/

We have created a “network” of stakeholders interested in implementing the methodology and results.

RECIPIENTS INVOLVED:

More than 1000 students, teachers, VET centers, social workers have been involved
More than 60 “Seniors” and 6 organizations that work with them.
The companies mentioned and the families of the students.

“We tomorrow” has reached all levels, local, regional, national, European and international.

The broadcast networks will be open for 5 years to create greater impact and dissemination.
