Project Summary

The objective of YES C+C is to enhance creative, cultural and digital competences of adult learners through the development of a tailored made training path and the access of their creations to market through a transnational online collaborative platform, showcasing creations of the participants, setting up common creative projects and contributing to the resilience of creative and culture sectors.
Besides de training and employment objectives of our project, YES C+C will have a holistic approach, considering the enhancement of cultural and creativity skills as a perfect vehicle to achieve social inclusion.
YES C+C Project counts on a multi-agent partnership, composed by 5 organizations (Spain, North Macedonia, Italy, Portugal and Germany) with complementary skills and prior knowledge or experiences on the project field. Project partners will be supported by members of Local Action Groups (one per partner) with the participation of the main regional and local stakeholders dealing with the project aim. Therefore, these associated partners will be also right vehicles to access to Project target groups.
YES C+C Project target groups are one hand, adults over 18 years old who wish to improve their creative, cultural and innovative competences and skills with especial emphasis in more vulnerable groups such as unemployed people, women, low-skilled people, etc. As a secondary target group, YES C+C Project will work with adults’ trainers (called mentors) who will be trained in the Project working methodology and training programme and, in a second phase, they will teach adult learners.
The work programme has been structured to achieve project results. Based on the needs analysis developed in the preparation phase, Project will develop a training Programme as well as an online training, showcase and networking Platform to increase creativity, culture and innovation skills among adult learners to be able to develop their own creativity projects, gain social inclusion and increase their employability. In order to achieve these Project results, YES C+C Project has planned the following activities:
– Development of a Toolkit to screen and profile participants (IO1), developing a practical solution based on the methodological approach of Case Management which puts the adult learners in the focus of the processes and working with a very personalised but holistic approach.
– Design of the training curriculum and mentors’ Guidelines.
– Implementation of a mobility action (C1) targeted to mentors to discuss and standardized training and working methodology with adult learners.
– Implementation of piloting actions at local level to test learning curriculum.
– 1 multiplier event per country to disseminate project outputs.
– Development of an online Platform to train adult learners, to showcase their creations and to develop collaborations with other participants. The Portal will include the International Academy (IO3).
YES C+C Project will have direct and beneficial impact in the participants, in the project partners organisations as well as in other stakeholders. Adult learners will increase their awareness about the importance of upskilling and reskilling; improve their technical knowledge on ICT (digitalisation, use of online platforms, etc); increase their skills to think out-of-the-box, developing creative solutions to problems and digital competences which will improve their employability and social inclusion; be better prepared to face changes in a complex work environment and, in the case of mentors, they will increase their competences in the assessment of learners’ skills and in teaching creative and innovative skills.
At long term, YES C+C partnership envisages the implementation of Sustainability and Exploitation Plan, being to underline that the whole partnership is formed by organisations with complementary competences and experience who currently deal with the main project issues: adults, culture and creativity, education, employment and social inclusion. Therefore, the base of YES C+C Project demonstrates that partners are fully committed to develop outputs that will be used after the end of the project implementation period in their in-house services.
At the same time, as already mentioned YES C+C Project will count on the support of the Local Action Groups created from the beginning of the project. These Groups will also incorporate part of Project outputs in their professional activities and they will serve, as well as dissemination vectors of project outputs among their contacts and networks.
The active role that innovative creativity and culture can play in the post-Covid area is very important to guarantee more resilient societies thanks to collaboration with the educational sector, being a niche of new employment opportunities, promoting social inclusive projects not to leave no one behind and improving the sustainably green footprint of the new creative projects.
