Project Summary

Young Entrepreneurs for Community Development represents a Capacity Building in the Field of Youth project, Eastern Partnership Youth Window projects, Partnership for Entrepreneurship.The consortium is formed of 6 partners countries: Georgia, Armenia, Ukraine, Moldova, Italy and Spain. The project aims to reinforce the capacity of the partner organisations by enabling them to develop and deliver quality non-formal education in the field of entrepreneurship for the disadvantaged groups of young people they work with. The general objective of the project is to increase entrepreneurial competences and the level of knowledge about the business potential of their region for young people with fewer opportunities from marginalised, rural and disadvantaged areas of Georgia, Armenia, Ukraine and Moldova. The project activities include: a transnational preparatory meeting, a research of the needs of youth in the field of entrepreneurship education, a training course for youth workers, local workshops of entrepreneurial education for youth, a youth exchange, local conferences between government representatives, businessmen and young people and an evaluation meeting. The project will benefit minimum 600 young people from EaP countries and minimum 100 from EU, aged 15-19, from selected rural areas, that will participate in workshops of non-formal education. In the project, an innovative non-formal methodology of entrepreneurial education for youth will be created. The tool-kit will be available in all of the partners languages and English. The Training Methodology produced in the project will have an impact on youth workers all over Europe which will be able to implement the new methods in their work of developing the entrepreneurial potential of young people.In the project, interactive web-platform will be developed. The web-platforms are addressed to youth who seek to get more information about entrepreneurship, self-development, opportunities for starting a business, funding opportunities. In the project a guide dedicated to youth entitled: “From Idea To Business” will be created. The guide will be written in an attractive way, using the language of nowadays youth, but in the same time will offer essential information that will guide youth in developing entrepreneurial qualities, clarifying and setting up life goals, offering tools to develop critical thinking and opening the path to adopt proactive behaviors in their daily activities.
