Project Summary
Context of the project:
The coordinator put a lot of effort and work in that all the partners contributed to the project in the same way. For that reason, from the beginning I look for partners that impart computer technology (computer science) in their curricula and that were vocational training centers or universities. It is also important to have the business world so I look as a partner to FICA. Once all the organizations managed to contact and wanted to work together, the first task of the project began before its presentation. This first task that was carried out by all the partners was to carry out a study and a search of the tool we wanted to perform. Once this study was done, we observed that the tools we wanted to carry out from our centers with our students were not developed before (web and mobile app). We had in our project clearly two types of partners as has been mentioned; on the one hand the educational centers (IES Cristóbal de Monroy, ITS Grassi, IPS Santarem). These were chosen from the same branch (computing) and capable of developing the software that we have developed together. On the other hand we have a business partner (FICA) who has contributed since its inception the dissemination of the project, the business contribution (ideas from the business point of view), as well as see from another point of view the development we were doing. The collaboration between all the partners has been growing so that not only is after two years in the scope of this project, has collaborated among the partners for student practices, visits to business centers, collaboration between students and companies. … all this section will be explained in more detail in this report in other sections.
Goals;
Our main objective is marked by the Intellectual Outputs. (O1, O2, O3, O4) and the horizontal priority of the project. We did all them. We wanted to make a search tool for European partners for projects of type KA2 and type KA1. It is a tool that can be used quickly and easily by any person who wants to be part of a project, leaving their data so that through the tool itself another person can get in touch with it. Keep in mind that to use it is mandatory registration and that only personal data will be shared when you want. The process of unsubscribe is immediate for the person who requests it and it is the tool itself that cancels the user’s data. The relationship with the world of work was important, so incorporating FICA as a partner brought us that other point of view that schools can not achieve only with education.
The tool has the same functionality on the web (https://yfys.eu/) as in the Google Play application (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.yfys.yourfutureyoursmartphone ). In this way, the web tool covers a large number of devices that are not android. Keep in mind that both tools are made in four languages (English, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian). The language is automatically detected from the browser or the operating system android and it starts to work in that language. By default English is taken in the case of not finding any of the languages indicated above.
Our main objective was to make two tools that help other people (future partners) to look for other people to form European projects or companies that can register to receive students for KA1 projects.
Therefore in summary form this tool is
1) One that allows via web with any device to register centers, teachers, companies.
2) Another that did the same thing that has been explained previously from an android app, but integrated into an application without the use of the browser.
To carry out these two tools, tools for development have been integrated into the curricula of students and teachers. The two tools have been carried out by the partners, each one has been in charge of the activities that have corresponded to them
