Project Summary

The project “Youth initiatives for employment” – Youth initiatives for employment in a project to exchange experiences and good practices, among organizations working in the field of youth and have developed their own initiatives, projects, tools or methods to improve the employability of young people.

The exchange of experiences between organizations that work with young people, is a way of encouraging their improvement, allowing the first person and in particular different actions carried out by similar entities that face homogeneous situations.

The objective of the project is that through the observation of good practices and experiences of organizations the functions are improved until the moment developed, therefore, the objective of this project, workers, organizations, organizations, initiatives, or implementation of your projects, projects to improve. the employability of young people, or to improve personal skills and professionals oriented to job placement.

The project has developed two transnational activities and two short training activities for youth workers, the training activities were:
A first activity that aimed at how organizations analyze and collect information that serves as the basis for the development of projects that aim to improve youth employability, the activity took place in the Dutch city of S-Hertogenbosh (Netherlands) ) in May 2019 and had the participation of all the partner entities of the project.

The second training activity aimed to observe and analyze how the organizations involved in the project develop their local initiatives to combat youth unemployment, what objectives they have, what methodology they use and how they evaluate the results achieved, this activity was developed in the month of November 2019 in the city of Cremona (Italy) and also had the participation of all the partner entities of the project.

The project had developed the following elements:

– Compilation of the methodology of analysis of the local situation implemented by each of the partners in a Booklet-webinar

– Development of a guide of good practices that includes the initiatives developed by the partners.
