Project Summary

The project was planned with Regent College, a UK secondary school/sixth form as the project lead. The partner schools were based in Italy, Turkey, Lithuania and Czech Republic.

The objectives were as below:
•Enthusiasm for sports
•Faith in today’s youth
•to view differences as an asset, not as a liability
•to develop a feeling of solidarity
•seeing sports as an essential part of a healthy society
•to provide youth inclusion into social life
•to develop a consciousness among participants about values linking peoples and nations together and providing them with a sense of identity
•to make the students feel more sympathetic towards their schools gaining self confidence through sports competitions
•to promote their entrepreneurship and creativity sides

The project was commenced with a transnational meeting, held at Regent College in February 2017. The first mobility took place in Turkey in May 2017. The second mobility was to Lithuania in November 2017. The third mobility was in March 2018 in Italy. As notified to ERASMUS and the British Council, Regent College was obliged to pull out of the project (date of cancellation 11 Oct 2018) due to practical restraints and therefore did not participate in the Czech Republic mobility.
