Project Summary

Partnership for Active Sharing, Social Inclusion and Organizational Networking (PASSION) is a project that aims to strengthen and develop the communication and relations between young people from Bulgaria and Macedonia. Through a thorough and precise program, this project aims to simultaneously connect young people and expose them to a different culture, world views and values and to upgrade their knowledge and equip them with new skills which will enable them to be forerunners of change in their society and true leaders who have all the necessary skills and in the same time know how to lead with empathy while promoting the core values of the European Union.
This project will bring EU closer to the young people and young people closer to the idea of united Europe.

After leaving this program, the participants will be equipped with all of the necessary tools and skills and will be ready to dive into the professional world and the world of progressive leaders who are bringing the change and reforms in the societies and in the world. The curriculum of the program will be very carefully composed and it will be tailor made for the participants in the sense that it will provide them with all of the necessary information, links and advice for their personal and especially professional development in different areas such as: : social and cultural dialogue, management, leadership, social inclusion, business, crisis management, democracy, social entrepreneurship, good governance, the way of functioning of the EU institutions and EU policies and good leadership practices and experience exchange. This is only a tip of the iceberg, and a lot of those topics will also have underlying topics that will be researched as well.

One of the greatest additions to this program is the developing the skill set needed for developing empathy in leadership. In these insecure times filled with stress and uncertainty in all aspects of the world, it is imperative to build leaders with stronger sense of empathy who will bring positive change, who will consider multiple factor in the decision making processes and while doing that will balance and use both reason and empathy. This could lead to an unprecedented change in the world and this project wants to start and inspire the development of different set of skills who might point young people on the right path.

Another important segment of this project is encouraging young people to be more open to diversity and to use the diversity that exist in their societies as an engine for change. Only with full social inclusion and using the potential of every citizen in the society, the country can flourish and reap the fruits of the joint efforts from everyone. This project will show that diversity is strength, inclusion is power and a highly skilled leader always uses all possible strength in order to make improvements in all aspects of his/hers existence.
program will also empower young people and will enable them to find their voice and to use that

This voice to be useful and active citizens and to actively advocate, participate and contribute in their communities, both on local and on national level. Critical thinking is crucial for the development of every young person, so this program will promote and share different tools for active development of critical thinking and detailed analyzes of data in order to make inform decisions and to know how to question certain decisions and to offer counter-arguments or different and creative solutions to some of the problem that they are facing in their community. The cultural exchange and networking between young people of two different countries is priceless in terms of their development, both personal and professional. This program will give opportunity to young people to meet their peers from their neighboring country and in the process to make friends, collaborators and to explore opportunities for joint activities, projects, collaborations and different types of networking which will enable them to grow and develop a sustainable network which will provide even more opportunities for the new generations, and the participants from this program in a way will also provide opportunities for other young people and in that way this program will have a multipliers effect and will build a very strong network which will only grow in time. All of these exchanges will lead to demystifying and deconstructing narratives, myths and prejudices that exist in both countries in the past two decades and the program will help young people let go of the old ways and to embrace the new wave of understanding and tolerance.

This program is aimed towards empowerment of young people who are ambitious and ready to throw themselves into the unknown, to get out of their comfort zone. Young people who are ready to take the wheel of their destiny into their own hand and to steer it into the direction towards full filling their potential, dreams and goals.
