Project Summary
The project “YOUth with a Plan” is a capacity building project, including a 7 day youth workers mobility activity for youth workers that have already some experiences within YiA (as participant or as leader) but that want to make the step to develop an own international project with their organisations.
YOUth with a Plan will take place in Mostar (BiH), contains 2 activities; one short capacity building meeting with the project team, and the longer activity, the training course itself, taking place the third week in spring 2016 (from Saturday to until Saturday), involving partner organizations from programme and partner countries that will arrive from Belgium, Czech, Italy, Romania, Turkey, Slovenia, Macedonia, BiH, Montenegro, and Serbia. The partnership is consisted with partners that have common experiences, but also with new partners.
The project aims to build capacities of youth workers and project managers in youth work and their organisations, to develop quality international youth (work) projects in E+/YiA, that meet the priorities of E+, with the necessary quality preparation, implementation, evaluation and follow-up.
We want to enable participants to develop a programme with a high quality of relevance, project design and project content, with articulating a clear learning processes, with impact, also after and beyond the project. As such, we meet a need for the E+ programme, to get successful applications, with projects that deal with the priorities of the programme.
We want to build capacities of youth workers and partners for project design, development of programmes, and we want to increase the project writing skills of translating these project ideas and programmes into applications with day-to-day timetables, focussing on the objectives and priorities of the E+/YiA programme.
Participants also will build an own project idea into a potential international E+/YiA project with the partners. Follow up is foreseen in the support of the further realization of these projects after this course.
