Project Summary
The project “Youth work – uprising beyond the borders” was realized from October 2018 until November 2019. Project is jointly implemented by the National Association of Youth Workers – NAPOR and Estonian Youth Work Centre – ENTK, Estonia. Activities done during the project were: study visits in Estonia and Serbia, national meetings, SHARE conference and creation of e-publication based on campaign and creation of Analysis document. All project activities are implemented with the support of both partners, as well as their member organizations. In total 36 participants participated in the study visits and national meetings, 69 people were present on the SHARE conference, 20 youth workers participated in the campaign by sharing their stories. During the project, different organizations and institutions were presented (national level organizations, university, ministries and local level institutions) and their representatives participated in project activities such as study visits and the SHARE conference.
The campaign implemented during the project had an influence in bringing closer youth work to youth; youth work practitioners, organizations and institutions. In that way, the wider audience could get to know what youth work is, who the youth workers are and what kind of job they are doing. All stories/interviews are compiled in one document and will remain open to the people after the project. Created document: Analysis of good practice summarizes advantages and challenges in both countries, giving also overview of different youth work practices. All created documents are at the Erasmus + result platform.
