Project Summary

Context
The project Mente Sã em Corpo São was a project developed in the field of the Erasmus + program of the key action 2 – Cooperation for innovation and exchange of good practices, action – Strategic Partnerships. It lasted for 12 months, beginning on 09/18/2016 and until 09/17/2017, and was coordinated by the Grupo Instrução e Sport and as partners, it had the Grupo Informal de Jovens de Buarcos (Portugal) , Asociación Xuvenil Vrenza (Spain), Muxema Association (Spain), Pásztó Város Onkormányzata (Hungary), Szurdokpüspöki Ifjúsági Egyesület (Hungary), Antares Association (Italy) and Circum Vitae Association (Italy).
The project aims to work in a concerted manner, integrating a relative of interdisciplinary responses and approaches from the various partners, in order to address the problems identified in Europe, outdoors, with a view to the development of equal opportunities and social cohesion, through the promotion school inclusion, formal and non-formal education, vocational training, employability, community dynamism and citizenship, digital inclusion, entrepreneurship and empowerment.
Objectives: Overall objective – To promote the social, educational and professional inclusion of young people from the partner countries of the project, with fewer opportunities, with a perfect age between 15 and 25 years, outside the educational system or at risk of school drop- Without employment and continuous training, through the implementation of activities in areas of education, training and youth, and non-formal learning methodologies, through an international and transnational strategy of 4 countries: Italy, Spain, Hungary and Portugal.
Specific objectives – raise awareness, at a local, regional, national and European level, to tackle processes of youth exclusion; – increase in skills, business, social, professional and digital, socio-professional school integration and empowerment of young people at local, regional, national and European level, reinforcing social entrepreneurship; – facilitate the knowledge and sharing of good practices on the internet; – development of activities aimed at young people at local, regional, national and European level, instilling in the young the interest of the school, promoting school success, access to ICT, equality and anti-discrimination mechanisms, integration of young people into educational responses adequate to their interests, active participation and citizenship, empowerment and entrepreneurship.
Thus, the project is developed in transnational terms, with the aim of promoting the sharing of juvenile measures and improving the well-being of the youth population at European level.
Main Activities: – Point @prender: support mechanism in the accomplishment of school works, of gratuitous character in the post-school period, that minimize the approach of young people to places of risk and promotion of school success (open daily in all the organizations); – Conduct 5 sessions of skills development and social applications in all associations (GPS Program – Generate Social Paths: Communication, Interpersonal Relationship, Cognitive Distortions, Emotions and Dysfunctional Beliefs); – 10 sessions of (in) training, migration, multicultural respect, friendship, citizenship, immigration: myths and facts, active citizenship, informal empowerment, mobility, employment policies. for young people; – Creation of a “Ag @ rra a Oportunidade” Youth Center (open daily in all organizations at local level); – Ideas workshops; – Youth employment fair; – Youth Assemblies; – Point @: revitalization of digital inclusion centers; – Transnational Mobility Meeting of 18 youth workers from the associations associations, held on November 20, 2016-25 / 11/2016, in the city of Figueira da Foz, to study the problem approach, as well as a measure and a transfer in order to promote better professional performance of youth workers.
Results-According to the monthly newsletters sent by relatives, all as proposed activities in media applications, all as proposed activities of a membership of 10 youth / activities. Thus, on average and covered by our project about 75 young people per country / month, which gives a total of 900 young people who benefited from the activities of our project. With this number of young people affected, we felt immensely successful, since we had proposed to reach 300 young people in order to increase the number of young beneficiaries. a non-compulsory activity (extra-curricular), which helps in a great way the approach to our public.
