Project Summary
THE CONTEXT:
There was an existing partnership between the French and the Spanish schools (a cultural and language exchange). Both schools wanted another dimension for our cooperation.
When a school from Slovakia (Gymnázium Matky Alexie) contacted Assomption Bellevue, it seemed quite interesting to offer the teachers from the school to be part of the project. They were at once highly interested.
Since the exchange is organized by language teachers, the teachers thought teaching and learning languages deserved careful attention.
Because we are convinced of the role of language teachers in the development of future European actors, we thought up this project: learning languages, an essential element in the development of future European actors.
Our final production will be the making of a video report.
OUR OBJECTIVES:
– Teamwork.
– Sharing our experiences.
– Creating a long-term partnership.
– Reinforcing the social, cultural and language skills of the pupils.
– Giving meaning to the learning of languages.

– Developing the pupils’ sense of belonging to the European Union.
PARTICIPANTS:
The group will be composed of 18 students (6 Spanish pupils, 6 Slovak pupils and 6 French pupils) and 6 coordinators (4 language teachers and 2 human sciences teachers).
