Project Summary
Project “Quality school” (QSCHOOL) objective is improvement of education quality by implementation of quality management system in general education, interest, informal and non-formal education. Lead partner is Kekava local self-government (Latvia) and project partners are Kekava Municipality Sport Agency (Latvia), Bordesholm local self-government (Germany), President JonasZemaitis Gymnasium (LIthuania) and Raseiniai district municipality administration (Lithuania). The project was implemented from September 2016 till September 2019. The results of the project on its completion are implemented and tested quality management system in general education institutions. Another result is improved cooperation between regional authorities and other involved partners, stakeholders to facilitate regional development and inter-sectoral cooperation between formal education, non-formal and in-formal education.The direct target group of the project are pupils, teachers in educational institutions, management staff in the educational institutions, staff in municipal authorities responsible for educational issues, decision makers in local municipalities, in total – 6000 persons.The indirect target group are parents of pupils, decision makers at national level, staff in regional and national authorities responsible for educational issues, decision makers at national level, general public of the partnering municipalities, in total – 45000 persons. It was ensured proper project activity implementation and coordination, 4 transnational project meetings were organized.To ensure proper project result achievement following activities/outputs were carried out:- 4 transnational project meetings;- 5 intellectual outputs – present status report, questioning of target groups, guidelines and action plan for implementation of quality management system, proposals for improvement of legislation, work materials of the conference;- 2 trainings ;- project results were disseminated during the final conference and project web site, as well as during several follow-up events like teachers’ conferences etc..
