The aim of the project is also to increase the competence and qualifications of 8 teachers through the implementation of activities related to learning, teaching and training. Effective teaching also depends on learning management methods, methods and forms of work with the student. Teachers, thanks to the work carried out in the project, will acquire additional skills necessary for working with children in shaping key competences for students and the use of innovative methods and forms of work. Exchange of experiences with teachers from a partner school will allow you to see the need to change the current individual and routine activities that will be carried out more efficiently, because it will be mastered in the workshop. Thanks to the increased quality of teachers’ work, the school’s development as an institution focused on multi-faceted educational development of students will be guaranteed.
Meetings for parents will also be held as part of the project. These meetings will be aimed at raising the knowledge and awareness of 10 parents of children participating in the project regarding the proper course of the child’s upbringing process. The school’s task is to create conditions for students to achieve competences that enable them to function efficiently in a changing world and prepare to meet the requirements of the modern labor market. Shaping key competences is the goal of the learning process, which is to be achieved by providing specific specific competences to students within individual subjects. Requirements standards included in current curricula have unfortunately been developed in relation to knowledge and skills in individual subjects, but not in relation to general competences. Therefore, 200 hours are planned to improve the quality of education in both primary schools in the field of developing key social competences. preventive workshops, because they play a huge role in shaping the personality of the attitudes of young people. They include all forms of behavior they may need to participate effectively in private and professional life. Nowadays social competences are becoming more and more important because societies are much more diverse than they used to be.
The offer of educational assistance that will be implemented as part of preventive workshops is primarily addressed to children who have learning difficulties, are in a situation that hinders or restricts their access to education due to economic and social obstacles. The planned activities result from the needs of the school and family community, serve to improve the quality of early education and key competences of students.
Project activities will have a broad impact on both schools and each of the target groups participating in it. The topics undertaken in the project are characterized by a wide audience: students, teachers, pedagogues, parents, and institutions operating in the field of education. The project is addressed particularly to the level of primary education, but also applies to schools of all levels, because it aims to shape social competences among students, which are very important in today’s world and are one of the eight key competences distinguished by the Council and the European Parliament needed to functioning in a knowledge-based society.
