Project Summary
Adult education is a practice in which adults engage in systematic and sustained self-educating activities in order to gain new forms of knowledge, skills, attitudes, or values. To keep up with modern technologies are the key for adults to be successful in the labor market. Online marketing is an important tool for small and medium enterprises to be competitive in the market. For experts from this area, they need to hire younger people they had a chance to study it already within the traditional system. This project gives an opportunity for adults to self-improve their competences in online marketing and be able to get trained in this field.
The project focuses on the development of knowledge and competencies in the field of online marketing for small and medium enterprises.
Improvement of business skills in online marketing for small and medium enterprises – the main intellectual output of this project is done directly by self-education through the Moodle platform using the educational self-study course or indirectly through educational institution by 3-days workshop organized by the educational institutions (or even college). These skills are important to keep and develop the competitiveness of SME in the field of online marketing. The project also aims from a wider perspective also to bring more adult students training.
Notwithstanding these facts, due to the interest of the projects’ target group, special motivational tools have to be applied to raise their attention and make them even enthusiastic about these topics.

Details:
According to the results of the questionnaire are selected competencies for education in online marketing which are developed through workshops with using the Moodle platform.
The curriculum is focused on soft skills such as creativity, decision making, etc. in online marketing. Education of students as potential employees of SME is done with workshops, in which they have actively developed knowledge of online marketing by using the Moodle-based platform. Students will receive a certificate as proof of demonstrated skills.
The platform will operate in the languages of project partners as well as in English. Location-specific business information (e.g. VAT) will be included in the version developed in the relevant language. Evaluation of workshops will be done at the end of the year.
We hope that we will be able to demonstrate results of using the workshops to increase the literacy of adult students, once becoming employees of SMEs in the field of online marketing.
The partnership has been selected based on both the target group’s needs and previous long-term project experiences focusing on each partners’ strengths and capacities.
