Project Summary

Within this project the partner organizations would like to implement activities which improves the quality of youth work and develops the competencies of people working with youth to act as advocates of greater gender equality and gain skills on how to promote young peoples’ (especially young women) empowerment regardless of their gender and equal economic independence. The capacity activities not only gives the opportunities to empower the young women to become independent, to promote their equal participation, to stand up of their rights, to take the leadership and develop entrepreneurial competences, support self-employment, self-realization, to acquire skills and abilities that can be apply in business management but promotes developments new tools and working methods, exchanging good practices, gaining new key competencies, entrepreneurial competences through non-formal education such as for example ability to plan and manage projects, adapting to changes, dealing with risk and problem solving skills or how to overcome political, social and cultural barriers.The project will provide a knowledge and discover the value of the Erasmus+ Programme, more specifically different possibilities as a tool for youth (especially young women) empowerment, employability and entrepreneurship.A wide variety of non-formal learning methods will be applied the whole project which includes individual and group learning, inputs, inter cultural event, group-building, audio visual materials, inputs, presentations ( from the participants and from the trainers), group and plenary discussions, role-plays, simulation games, study visits, campaigns, evaluations, reflections.The project will have: 1) Transnational meetings It will be 2 trainings for youth workers order to apply learning outcomes in their professional work in their organizations and countries, organize and run workshops, mentoring after the courses2) The first international training course which develops the youth workers knowledge and discuss the role of youth workers to contribute to promote the value of gender equality;3) The second International training course which develops entrepreneurial competences of youth workers in order to encourage and prepare young people and especially young women to engage in еntrеprеnеur activities and еntrеprеnеur learning;4) Run local activities in order to promote Gender Equality, young women empowerment, inspire and guide disadvantaged part of young women; Increase female labor market participation and equal economic independence;5) International Seminar which gives to young entrepreneurs new skills but also space to promote own initiatives which they already done or which they will do;6) Develop even more the guide for youth workers- “9 steps in working for gender equality and young women empowerment” which promotes quality youth work to this direction;7) Create a network “Women Self-Help Group”;As follow up will be create concrete projects.
