Project Summary
Two sister cities were involved in the Project. In Kisujszallas ( Hungary ) Zsigmond Moricz Reformed College and from Wilamowice ( Poland ) administrative center, three secondary schools in Dankowice, Pisarcowice and Wilamowice took part in the partnership. The mentioned above settlements had been in tight friendly relationship before and since 2008 have been providing annual short-term students’ exchange mobilities, which were mostly about taking part in mutual free time activities ( sports, cultural events, travelling ).
The Erasmus+ Project gave us a perfect opportunity to broaden our relationships by adding educational aspect as well. The empulsion of the Erasmus + Project was that we took our earlier cooperation to a higher level of professional cooperation.
Our Aim was to exchange our positive experiences in education and upbringing pupils and trying to make them usefull in each other’s educational process. On the other hand, we were doing our best to better our students’ communication skills by using the English language as well as their knowledge of the computer by using all the IT possibilities. We believe that through this international cooperation our students’ communication ability has improved a lot together with their tolerance towards each other. The Project’s intention was to develop students’ commercial abilities. The Secondary School in Kisujszallas has provided Economics course for decades and thus has gained a great experince in initiating and running students’ enterprises. So, the Hungarian partner agreed to share it with the Polish patrners’ schools to be adapted and used locally.
Within the Project three mutual international students’ enterprises were created by the students aged 13-17. During two years ( 24 months ) 2 partners’ meeting and 4 students mobilities have been held. The quantity of students and the mobilities have been carried out as planned. The number of educational mobilities during the Project have been about 100.
The Students’ Enterprises from their start to liquidation were closely supervised by the teachers and were put to the test by working in real life conditions, like market places and school events whilist the participants were gaining immediate experience and feedback, seeing the importance and results of their efforts. For the products’ production we used both material and human sources ( e.g. ceramics production ).
The oucome of the Project has brought the participants improved communication skills, commercial abilities and those in cooperation. They developed the emotional bond between them. The teachers had the chance to learn new techniques from each other which they can try afterwards. The students obtained valuable knowledge in business, which can be a great advantage for them in the future ( getting a better job ).
Analising all the experiences of the Project the partners wiil use sme parts of the Business Program in their educational system. The Access to the professional mazerial on Students Enterprises we grant through the Project’s website.
