Project Summary
In the last decade, bullying has become a major issue around the world. Children have been victims or actors of bullying at schools. Peer bullying is a serious problem that will lead to a sharpening of the learning of the students,causing physical and emotional harm in short and long periods, causing school absenteeism, as well as students who are bullying victims and ones who are bullying live psychological problems in their future lives. According to Health Word Organisation, Romania is on 3 place by 42 European country as incidence of bullying, Save the Children Romania survey reports that 69% by Romanian students have been martor of cyberbullying; Faculty of Education of the University of Ankara in 2014 reported that 74% of students were once subjected to violence in their lives, and 20% of them reported violence against their friends.The main motivation in this project is to combat and prevent bullying in all its dimensions. For teachers and students, meetings will be organized for bullying as ways to increase motivation and overcome bullying. It will be equipped to recognize the challenges and opportunities of developing strategies for identifying and preventing peer bullying. Our project aims to reduce the most difficulties that students experience in peer bullying and to develop a behavioral culture against peer violence, including social, ethnic, linguistic and cultural diversities at schools. Our first motivation is to improve the positive attitudes and behaviors of students towards bullying and to improve the quality of management efficacy of the staff on peer bullying, curriculum planning with new teaching methods, knowledge and ability to cope with peer bullying and bullying victims so that students can be protected from victimization and so that students aren’t affected by negative aspects of bullying. Some of main objectives are:Recognizing students different cultures and people, Promoting digital skills via various web 2.0 tools and orienting the students for using internet usefully, Reducing bullying rates associated at partner schools, Increasing problem solving, critical thinking& and communication, Raising awareness about foreign language learning in contemporary sens, Creating circumstances where school meetings, communication campaigns or artistic competition scan be resolved, bringing school values into the forefront, training of minimum 30 teachers by partner schools for using of Etwinning as tool for inclusion of diversity in clasroom/school&integration of multidiciplinar aproch in compulsory curricula, improving their didactic competences& strategies for preventing/managing bullying/cyberbullying acts in clasroom/school environment. Our project objectives are linked with selected priorites, focused on learning for all/inclusing of diversity/EU values for a democratic citizenship.Project results: 1 Web site, FB page, 1 e-book/CD with ISBN of symposium articles/good practices, mascots, logos, exhibitions, digital stories, videos, min. 3 dresses by reciclabe materails, 6 e-safety certificates, min.1 quality national Certificate for etwinning, 1 training course proposal, min. 2 therapeutic stories &min.1drama scenario on project topic.Our participants will increase educational&social inclusion, will be more efficient in their education& training of qualifications a&equipment; Participants will interact with different culture and it will develop ’empathy’&share support for other. We will decrease bullying rates&absenteism at schools.
Our schools needs to be developed for the benefit of teachers, students, organisation, in terms of quality improvement, internationalization, inclusion & longlife learning for all. As teachers benefit-they improve the qualification of professional language&communication skills, develop guidance method for students in order to achieve more conscious activities with appropriate& effective modern techniques& digital skills. As students benefit-they will find opportunities to increase academic achievement, motivation for school learning, join social&cultural activities. Students experiment different cultures making friends from different cultures for the first time. They will live European Citizenship in its place.For school benefit, at the point of joining European strategic partnerships, the school’s motivation& synergy will increase. Participation rate of school will increase in international projects. The school’s brand value and popularity will increase, the organisation will increase their European value &will work in international networking.
