ERASMUS PROJECT

Art Ambassadors
France – Spain – Greece
Partners: Patricia Vera Morales / Marina Betinaki / Solange Ramond / Don Pierre Peraldi
General objectives:
We think that art matters and that students need to be accompanied to discover the world of museums or other cultural places which they often see as foreign, too old, too classic, too lofty, too intellectual. In order to carry out the project we established partnerships with cultural institutions.
We feel we need to take them on a journey through European art and museums so they can discover cultural institutions (how they work) and works of art that will help them get to know their own cultural heritage and build a European culture.
They will learn about the European heritage and will learn to enjoy its culture, how to talk about it through innovative approaches like collaborative learning + group work and new technologies.
They will reinforce their language and communication skills.
The ultimate objective is for students to feel included in the surrounding culture whether they be in museums or part of the heritage. We want students to feel they belong to this culture and this culture belongs to them.

The three partners agree to organise a virtual and physical exhibition in order to display their work and to have their schools benefit from this European project.
