Our priority is to do our best to develop personalities well adapted to a modern society. Freedom of movement, studying, employment within the EU are among advantages of being its membership. Travelling around the EU involves getting to know another cultures and showing respect for diversity. Participating in the project gave a chance of applying the rules of safe travelling in practice. Trips to partner schools ensured personal contact with another culture. Students stayed with host families, took part in integrating activities, festivals, school events, went sightseeing. Communication in English but also getting to know basic phrases in partners’ languages improved pupils’ language skills. During school lessons they learnt how to use different IT tools which enhanced their computer competencies. Training courses on safety held outdoors (in the mountains, at the seaside, on the plain area) followed the practical activities (mountain hiking, kayaking, camping, orienteering and survival activities). Participators of the project spent their time learning and travelling together.
