Project Summary
The partnership has been created with the full agreement of and by the five partners coming from the UK, RO, PT, TR and IT. It is expected to reach the objectives of the EU Commission.
These rates of youth unemployment are vivid facts of the struggles the young graduates have when comes to finding a suitable work place in conjunction with their abilities, skills and interests. In this regard our partnership aims to assist students into the activity of evaluating their own abilities and interests for the long run and to help them choose a safe, correct and suitable direction to a successful career, to help them make suitable career choices.
The project centers around the advancement of students’ entrepreneurial aptitudes and offers them chances to interface with neighborhood/local/European foundations or privately owned businesses inside the general, public European labour force. The students will study their own marketability to potential employers or clients (marketability), improve their adaptability and adjust to the idea of continuous and consistent learning and adaptable vocation alternatives, build up their versatility to work markets not only at local, but also at national and European level.
The partnership will give students a chance to improve their knowledge and to gain a more profound comprehension of the social and linguistic variety of the European people group. Subsequently, the project provides a significant setting for them to build up their interpersonal, relational and communicational abilities in foreign languages, both amid up close and face to face meetings/visits and also by utilizing a wide range of media tools for online correspondence and for the creation of a site that will advertise the projects’ results.
The period of implementation will be of 2 years and during this we will organise 5 short term exchange of students meetings. Before each LTTA meeting with students, practical activities will be run in the local schools by all the partners and during each LTTA the host school will organize workshops to analyze the general economic situation of Europe, identify positive and negative aspects. Each LTTA meeting will deal with a specific subtopic and 2 different specific topics for workshops, and all the practical activities and workshops organised during the meeting will be connected to the subtopic and have the purpose to help reaching the objectives. From the activities run during the meeting 1 good practice will be selected as final result, which will then be further transferred to other educational institutions; the same, from the activities organized from before the LTTA exchanges, each partner school will chose a best practice and present it during the meeting. The project has an international aim: to prepare, train and assist students in choosing their future career, to make them aware of the different fields of labour, aware of the skills and training they need to have in order to occupy a good position in the workplace; to familiarise them with the criteria required for getting a job and to boost their confidence towards living through working. A total number of about 2500 of direct and indirect participants will be influenced by the partnership:
Students: the 112 directly participating students are between 15-18 years old (total number of about 1200).
Teachers: teachers will be instructors and beneficiaries as by getting involved in the implementation they will be able to directly learn about different educational systems through Europe A total number of about 40 teachers in total will be involved in an active way in the activities. Approximately 160 teachers will indirectly be affected.
Administrative staff: will supervise good development of the initial plan and will ensure the insertion of the good practices into the school curriculum (around 34 individuals).
Parents: a number of about 300 family members will help advertising local and national customs and traditions. About 460 family members will indirectly be involved in the implementation.
Work field members: each participating school will involve at least 5 work field members in the project.
Local community: an approximate number of 400 people: University faculty lecturers, members of local press, municipality, PTAs, directorate of national education etc. will be affected in an indirect way.
It is expected that about 50% of the target group will:

– learn about opportunities to get in touch with different companies from different work fields from local/national/international level;
– boost their adaptability to changes and realise the importance of continuous learning and the importance of having flexible vocation choices;
