Project Summary

The goal of this project was to support and bring together young people across country borders in our region to encourage athletic activity. As well as to offer young people a wide variety of athletic options. The general knowledge level of our coaches was also improved by learning from one another and sharing experience. The teaching standards of Liechtenstein and Austria were brought together. Training events were held for coaches from both countries, and appropriate external experts were invited to provide these trainings in the region. This way the coaches did not have to travel unreasonably far for training, which increased willingness to participate thus increasing the education level of our coaches and the quality of our work with young people. These training events also had to be prepared and reviewed afterwards, which reduces the amount of work necessary to hold the same event again, improves the quality and professionality of the event, and accordingly more activities can be offered for young people.
