Project Summary

The title of the project is “Creative, active and responsible teenagers for European citizenship” because the project aims to promote understanding of local and national ecological problems (of each partner country) in comparison with European and global ones. Through our project, we want to encourage and motivate our students to activate in an association as volunteers to accumulate experience on the job market, but also to acquire the personal and professional skills they will need in future society and in their future workplace. We also plan to create an environment that is conducive and motivating for the personal development of each student.
The main objective of our project is – to increase the percentage of students from partner institutions involved in voluntary activities for environmental protection for the development of their civic, democratic and social entrepreneurship skills. environmental protection, our project aims at environmental and climatic objectives because it aims to train students to become real factors of change (saving resources, reducing waste, selective sorting, offsetting carbon emissions, opt for organic food choices, protect forests against fires) by modifying their behavior regarding the environment, their consumption habits and their lifestyles.
By changing their behavior, they will become a model for their families, their friends and their colleagues. Through the activities of the project, we want our schools to become places which have teachers and other specialists capable of providing quality education, ecological and entrepreneurial education in line with European requirements and who use innovative teaching approaches and learner-centered to meet the needs of all types of students.
Our target group are students aged 14-19. Among the direct participants, students will be selected. We will involve students who are not usually involved in activities as part of volunteering projects and those most involved in the preparatory activities for mobility. We will have 6 students from each country in each mobility accompanied by 2 teachers.
We intend to make an impact on teachers in partner schools who are not directly involved in the project, on French-language teachers and on those responsible for European projects in all schools in partner regions. Teachers interested in the results of the project will be able to participate in the events on eTwinning planned after each mobility and in the events planned by each school once a year.
Our project allows students from 4 colleges from 4 different European countries to come together to establish a linguistic and intercultural understanding. We will have 4 short-term student group exchanges for students and teachers (in Romania, Bulgaria, Portugal and Italy) in which 72 students and 24 teachers will participate. We have chosen 4 lifting themes for mobility: creative recycling, organic gardens, protection of forests against fires and enhancement of the natural heritage through cleaning.
The activities are planned to reduce the phenomenon of pollution within the framework of fictitious NGOs: classes / workshops on the to fight against the protection of the environment of events and activities on eTwining, creative recycling workshops, outings in nature, organic gardens, green classrooms, circular economy fairs, cleaning of green areas, differentiated work, project pedagogy, implementation of new teaching methods and tools by teachers of different subjects (ICT, tablets, etc.) ), activities and tasks aimed at strengthening social, civic and democratic entrepreneurship skills.
The targeted results are: the participation of students and teachers in informal and non-formal activities, the acquisition and development of digital and linguistic skills, the development of interpersonal, civic and social skills, familiarization with culture, tradition, language and way of life of partners, teaching methods adapted to students, internationalization of schools, professional training of teachers in entrepreneurial, ecological, civic and democratic education, friendships between teachers who will be the first step for collaboration in the future and for new European partnerships.
