Project Summary

The isolation experienced by people during the pandemic, especially those alone or in difficulty, has implied a sense of loss and, at the same time, the desire, conscious or unconscious, to rediscover social relationships. With this project we intend to offer, in compliance with all the safety regulations that will be foreseen, activities useful for regaining self-confidence and capable of supporting and promoting concrete social inclusion. The main objective is to reach the largest number of people to whom to offer activities conceived and designed to counteract loneliness, promote socialization and well-being, to regain confidence and will to live. All this represents the first step to reach another goal concerning that intentional individual process that aims at the acquisition of roles and competences and which involves a relatively stable change over time, particularly useful for achieving active citizenship, that is to say direct participation to civil life through three key skills: knowing and knowing how to think, knowing how to be and knowing how to do.The main expected result is to create well-being among the people who decide to get involved in the planned activities, which we can translate into pleasure, commitment and awareness in what is being done. The operators of the various partner organizations must present themselves with empathic leadership towards these people, demonstrating above all a particular sensitivity. The planned activities concern various cultural and artistic sectors. There are contemporary dance workshops which, in addition to providing various benefits to the body and mind, are able to promote socialization and interrelationships; all this, with the help of professional dancers and making use of informal settings, can become a “cure” in the sense that the experts will take care of the participants through supervision, concern and attention towards them.Interactive music workshops will also be set up using any disused object or material being able to produce a sound. It can be transformed into an instrument without you having to be a musician and there is no limit to creativity.Starting from an initial idea, all participants, people from different socio-cultural backgrounds and with different skills, will have the opportunity to contribute to the process of musical composition and performance. In this case, group musical work is an optimal way of learning to include and integrate into a single entity, defined on the basis of a common goal. Furthermore, the philosophy of material recovery, in addition to contributing to raising awareness on the issues of reducing waste of resources and recycling, will add a dimension to creative development, which can also be applied outside the strictly musical sphere.Altre attività includono laboratori dedicati a persone in difficoltà emotiva, sociale ed economica che saranno i protagonisti di documentari in cui racconteranno la loro esperienza durante il lock down.Narrative exhibition is a short-term therapy also suitable for those who have experienced traumatic experiences: through exposure, with the help of a facilitator, it will be possible to reflect on one’s life as a whole and also promote a reorganization of one’s identity in degree to allow for an adequate social life. The sharing of the different practices implemented and presented by the different partners, in relation to their skills in different but relevant areas, can lead to significant changes in the operators and in the personnel of the staff both as individuals and as members of a team within their organizations. The whole teaching-learning process will continue and must continue to be united, in all its various phases, by the practice of an inclusive and empathic non-formal education; the evaluation must take into account the progress in terms of soft skills acquired by the beneficiaries, as well as the consequent degree of satisfaction. Following the dissemination of good practices, it is hoped that an increase in user participation will enable the validation of lifelong learning which aims to enable each individual who practices it to respond effectively to the changes and challenges that will arise during life; and also the possibility, by the operators involved in the project, to participate in residential experiences and discussion tables based on the exchange of good practices with European / international realities engaged in permanent creative training.
