Project Summary

Due to the massive restrictions caused by the Corona pandemic, only one first student exchange from Germany to Italy took place as scheduled in October 2019 for 2 weeks. Thus
the project was started as planned. The project groups and the project implementation were planned and the participants could get to know each other. The technical basics, the plans and the preparations were worked out or carried out in the Italian school. In each case 13 German participants and an Italian technician class worked out basics in soldering, construction, technical drawing with CAD modules, laboratory work and energy concepts for different alternative energy generation methods. For this purpose, a lively practical preparation took place in the laboratories and classrooms of the Italian partner institution, in which tools, processes and technologies for the construction of alternative wind generators took place. For the practical knowledge transfer 2 company visits took place. Once the concept of the alternative energy production over the pumped storage power station Enel in the intalienischen sea Alps took place and further a small solar and wind power park was visited, which is not so common in Italy, as in Germany. The focus was on the advantages and disadvantages of the implementation of these energy sources.
We organized project material, learning kits and small tools, which were not or not sufficiently available in the Italian school. Partly software (e.g. learning programs) was procured, which can be used together as class license.
Also the cultural excursions, which were carried out parallel during the stay, were booked by us in the apron (e.g. visit of a stalactite cave, visit of an olive oil enterprise with attached museum, exploration of the historical old part of town of Monaco and a historical excavation place). For the organization on site, introduction and support of the new school management in Italy, a preparatory visit was carried out, which brought together the supervising subject teachers, the interpreter and the school management in order to coordinate the course and the ideas.
