Project Summary
Developing professional knowledge, skills, and competence for music students – is Erasmus + project, organised by 3 school partners with a direction of music from 3 country: Lithuania, Turkey, Latvia. This project solve the problem: Students in musical schools does not have enough knowledge, skills and competences in IT, necessary for professional activity, leisure time. The main goal of this project – To develop professional knowledge, skills, and competence for 15-18y.o. music students.
The tasks closely related to the purpose of the project are a)to prepare needed material b)to teach to introduce yourself, the event, and evaluate yourself, including knowledge about partner country culture, music culture, c) Get to know about sound recording programs, including knowledge about partner country culture, music culture, d) train to use social networks safely, including knowledge about partner country culture, music culture, e)to measure the impact.
The main target group – STUDENTS, 15-18 y.o. and TEACHERS from musics schools.
During the project will be organised 4 Training activities: 1 for teachers (joint staff training events), 3
– for students (exchanges of groups of pupils).
The methodology of project management includes the main processes: planning, responsibilities,
completion of activities, maintenance and control, continuity.
The main activities of this project are: Preparation and Learning / Teaching / Training activities (LTTA).
Preparation activities includes the next stages: dissemination after meeting, and preparation for the next meeting, program revision and a summer camp in each country. During the LTTA activities for teachers will participate 9 teachers (3 teachers from each Partner). During the LTTA will participate 81 student (9 student 3 country 3 Training activities). The main methods on Training activity’s are CLIL (meetings, homeworks in English), simulation (using the simulation method introduces lessons for students), “learning by doing”, group, and individual work, discussion, experiential tasks.
Expected impact of the project about 2000 participants.
Expected results for project: 1) deeper professional knowledge, skills and competences for music schools students, 2) methodical material: presentations “Example of self-event-presentation: CV, Cover letter, event”, “Example of evaluation forms: Youthpass, QR code example”, “Programs Ableton live 10, other programs, software”, “Ethic, rules, examples of social networks, differences; phone programs, software” 3) integrate lessons to teach classmates, 4) summer camp – to disseminate project, to improve competences 5) eTwinning project with dissemination material, 6)Systemic results of impact measurement.
On the continuity of the project the participants STUDENTS will use the IT tools, needed for job in the music field (like legal records program), looking for work (CV, cover letter), organising events, performances (QR code badges, Youtpass), will communicate with the children of another country, will be more motivated in IT and other lessons. The School will introduce / supplement the lessons of Information Technologies (or Computer Music Technologies) with Sound Engineering subjects, project tasks, methods, and etc.
