Project Summary

This project aims to develop innovative products which meet the UN demands for sustainability. It will be achieved through collaboration between French and Swedish students where both parties will bring their expertise to try to find solutions to everyday issues. Using the framework which exists in both schools, students will test and develop their entrepreneurial skills at an international level. This will also support them in developing linguistic skills which will enable communication across national borders. English will be the method of communication. The aim is also to use the Junior Achievement/ Entreprendre pour Apprendre programme as an organisational tool to run a joint project between our schools in France and Sweden. It will require us all to adapt culturally in order to collaborate effectively to ultimately provide sustainable business solutions. Business and above all the environment need us all to work together and this project will help us to learn how to do this. We expect the outcomes to be a greater awareness of the environmental challenges business faces, improved communicative skills in English, greater cultural adaptability amongst the participants. Much of our communication will take place using technology, however it is vital to have the opportunity to meet face to face. We will have the opportunity to do this during 2 short visits at the beginning of the project and in the middle. It helps that the two teachers responsible for the project have already met on 2 occasions. It will be equally important to document the development process using shared google documents, Twinspace, video, email etc.
