Project Summary

Context: Youth unemployment is a key problem in the whole of the European Union. The European Council recommends improving integration in the labour market, establishing effective measures to help people to get training, fostering cooperation between companies and universities and increasing the employability of women.

Objective: In this sense, three bodies of three member countries of the Union, Spain, Finland and Estonia, Exchange practices and experience with the aim of promoting high quality work in the field of youth that respond to the needs of young people in search of employment through new methodologies that favor the training required by the current labour market.

Specific objectives: training of workers in the area of youth through the exchange of practices and methods to promote intersectoral cooperation, promote the active participation of young people and increase the capacity of working at transnational level of the participants

Number and profile of the participating organizations:
The Association is composed of three entities in the field of youth, three member countries of the European Union, Spain, Finland and Estonia, which work with young educational, cultural and training programs for employment through non-formal education.
Workers in the field of youth of the three partner entities participate directly in the project: 5 from Spain, 3 from Finland and 3 from Estonia.
The beneficiaries are young students and in search of employment, between 18 and 30 years of age, who participate in the training and training programs of the three entities: 18 from Spain, 12 from Finland and 12 from Estonia.

Activities carried out:

– Analysis activities.
Objective: Prepare workers to be able to address the problems of today’s Europe
Result: The workers have addressed the problems affecting the EU based on the objective of the project.
Methodology: analytical, research and debate.

– Practical exchange activities.
Objective: To train workers through the exchange of practices and promote the training of young people, open it up to intersectoral cooperation and encourage their active participation.
Results:
11 workers have acquired new practices, have developed new skills, have increased their professionalism and have improved the quality of their work.
3 entities in the field of youth have implemented an improved methodology to promote the training required by the current labor market
42 young people have participated in the programs developed in the project
Methodology: innovative, intercultural, participatory, dynamic and integrating.

– Creation of an EWW Digital Platform

Impact reached:
-A total of 11 youth workers, 5 from FDV (Spain), 3 from KKEry (Finland), and 3 from MTÜ Kultuur ja Perekond (Estonia), have exchanged practices, integrated new methods and acquired new skills and capacities, which increase their professionalism and guarantee a high quality work in the field of Youth.
-All workers have developed new skills, personal, professional, linguistic, digital and intercultural.
-11 workers, from three member countries of the Union, have addressed the problems of present-day Europe with regard to the main objective of the project: youth unemployment, improvement of the quality of work, promotion of youth participation and the transmission of values.
-The 11 participating workers have developed an improved methodology that favors the active participation of young people in effective programs that guarantee the training required by the current labor market.
Long-term benefits

The training acquired by young people and workers will stay with them forever. The employability of the young beneficiaries will depend on many factors, but all of them are ready to enter the labor market. The participating workers have improved the quality of their work and are prepared to continue working at the transnational level with more motivation and professionalism.
