Project Summary

The Euroddip_e project has contributed to the educational inclusion of children with disabilities (preserved intelligence and physical disabilities (upper limbs)) using ICT and different methodologies (ability detection, personalised software, 3D push-button printing, augmented reality piloting), offering easy and feasible solutions to overcome the barriers faced by students and their teachers.
A Partnership has been formed and has proposed three intellectual outputs: Methodology to assess the capabilities of disabled students for the personalisation of educational devices (O1), Software to personalise educational devices for disabled students (O2), and Hardware to support the personalisation of devices for disabled students (O3).
In addition, the three intellectual outputs: Methodology for assessing the capabilities of disabled students for the personalisation of educational devices for French speakers inside and outside the European Union (O1). Manuals for the detection of abilities, manuals for the design and realisation of 3D pushbuttons (O1), (O3) and a manual for the elaboration of augmented reality activities (in English and Spanish) have been designed in livebooks (O1 and O3). All the manuals in pdf and livebook are available on the web and in the software (https://euroddip-e-toolkit.eu/) for free download (O2).
There have been 12 online meetings, 2 learning activities (Spain and Portugal) and 2 multiplier events (Spain and Belgium).
The teachers who attended the events expressed a high degree of satisfaction with the results presented and showed great interest in their use and dissemination.
An ERASMUSDAY 2020, aimed at future education professionals, such as students of the Faculty of Education of the University of Burgos, has been carried out.
Therefore, the Euroddip_e project contributes to improve quality standards in the educational field, promoting the academic success of students with disabilities and equal access and opportunities for all, increasing the skills and competences of school teachers.
Covid-19 has allowed us to make enrichments in the intellectual products (O1,O2,O3)
– Expansion to the French-speaking community living inside and outside the EU.
– Guidance for teachers for the implementation of augmented reality activities with personalised devices. Manuals for the implementation of augmented reality activities for teachers and implications for students with disabilities.
– Access to the resources developed in livebook format.
