Project Summary

Our project aims were to create a magazine with the collaboration of our six partners. The magazine was a kind of bridge which connected us each other. We worked with the students aged between 8 and 14 who were open to learn new things. On Erasmus boards and our Twinspace we shared the activities we have done and completed at our schools. Our students had written regulary News from us. All news are publish on blog page we created. Our traditional cook recipes were collected in an cook book we published. All students learned traditional dances and songs of each partner. During holidays and summer vacations our students exchanged postcards. They also exchanged bookmarks on which are drawings from famous children book from each partner. Name of writer and book was written on bookmars. That way our students learned about best children books written in partner countries. We created a multilingual dictionary with audio. Our new imaginary character as the magazine reporter had interviewes with historical and real, well known people, scientiest, athletes, journalist… We had video conferences for coordinator meetings and for virtual mobilities for some partners who could not attend physicaly. Our students and teachers planted Erasmus trees on each mobility as a symbol of new, but continuously friendship. After logo competition , selected logo was published on all materials. Our students like photography. That’s why we had photograph competitions od agreed topics. Best pictures are publisher in photobook.
By means of these activities we found the chance to know each other better and recognized what we have in common and in different. This enables us both respect our differences and feeling the sense of being european members. All these sharings and new learnings are published in our magazines.
We learned a lot about reading comprehension and creative writing using ICT. Wwith the help of this project we become able to guide our students and colleagues by spreading learned methodologies and developing them further creating a magazine or other publications.
