Project Summary

Our new theme aims to consider three major issues: sustainability, entrepreneurship and health under one umbrella. The health section of our theme would consider individual mental health, the health of our local environment and the health of European society as a whole given the increased diversity within that society. It will provide strength and challenges within the local environment and the citizenship of our participating schools. We want to work together to improve our society and ensure the continuation of an integrated Europe. With the advent of BREXIT we realise that the face of Europe is changing but we are determined to hold on to the relationship we have built over the past twenty years.
This project is the latest in a series of successful projects of previous partnerships. It builds on previous work on employability and entrepreneurship. It will provide a number of benefits to students, teachers, schools and their wider communities including business partners. It will promote creativity and enable students to focus on their own strengths to make good choices on future life choice decisions. It can possibly inform career paths, and develop the necessary skills to create a sustainable and healthy environment. It will also strengthen European networks and raise awareness of the three major issues highlighting the difference between partner countries and creating an empathy between educational communities.
There are six schools from five countries across Europe, and we will work hard to make sure that we involve the maximum number of participants. Apart from students we will engage with staff, stakeholders, business partners and parents . We would be working with people from the local community and other who have recently joined the community from different cultures and backgrounds. We will particularly encourage the participation of target groups such as those facing significant disadvantages and those with special needs. Our end product of a documentary has the potential to reach thousands through use of the web.
Project activities will include field and desk research, the creation and manufacture of services or products, student participation in international competition and the completion of the evaluation process, both to inform the current project and as a basis for future initiatives. Methodologies employed in the above activities will emphasise teamwork and collaboration across borders. Skills
development and confidence building will also be a key focus.
The expected results and impacts will include international interaction between participants and an enhancing of student creativity and other business skills. A website will be progressively developed through the life of the project, which will be available as a resource for participants and others. We will also create an APP that can be accessed by all student participants. We also intend to create a documentary with inputs from all participating countries which will be worked on over the two years. We anticipate a more international ethos and entrepreneurial spirit as a result of the project. All our results will be uploaded onto the etwinning learning platform.
We also hope that students will see the merits and opportunities of starting or joining the eco-business sector. We believe that pupils will get a better understanding of the health of individuals, community, environment and Europe as a whole We believe that partnerships formed will lead to long term sustainable benefits. Overall schools and students will foster closer international ties and foster a more international outlook with broadening horizons and developing an environmentally conscious attitude.
