Project Summary
Our project team was composed of 5 countries : France, Italy, Romania, Bulgaria, Finland – located into different parts of Europe. According to Europe 2020 strategy, like an European countries we have had similar ways of teaching and develop similar transversal competencies built on the different bases of our national cultures, our methods of teaching, working and soft skill competencies . The main goal of this project was to meet all ours needs : improving our English language and ICT (information and communications technology) skills, acquiring new education methods, discovering other cultures and education systems, using the E-twinning platform. With this project we were going to offer an attractive teaching to our students, and exchange our different practices. As a matter of fact, we were going to be better teachers. The theme of the project “Greetings from TOMORROW” – environment, nature protection and recycling – is suitable for implementation and relevant for non-formal student education and will strengthening the profile of the teaching profession.
To implement our goals, our team (students, teachers and members of local communities) have worked together in different countries involved in the partnership, within these 4 stages:
1.Industrialization and pollution – view throughout history, for our communities and regions, to show the students, the teachers and the local communities the importance of nature saving for economic development throughout history
2.Global warming and communities today
3.New life for garbage
4.How to save the planet? Opportunities for students to identify and compare different solutions and to give their own ideas for ecological problems solving.
The joint work and results done in the project were :
– A book (4 chapters and an appendice), which refered at different themes: pollution in my country , good practices in each country for fighting with pollution, children’ ideas for environmental protection and countries’ problems deciding, how we can use the book in classrooms/lessons?
– Mobile application/game, quizzes
– Two calendars associated with the years of the project (2017 and 2018)
